Eyebrow transplantations are same-day procedures performed in the office. The downtime related to brow grafting is mainly cosmetic in nature. Some patients will have some swelling above their eyebrow for a day or two following the procedure. Some scabbing where the follicles are implanted may last up to 5 days. Where the follicles are removed, some itching may develop days later, or mild burning sensation like a sun-burn may occur. These are temporary and can be managed easily with topical lotions if necessary.
